Kricket Canary Wharf Restaurant

“Visited on Monday 14th July. Large party. A bit hit and miss. Loved cocktail, starters and dessert. Mains were disappointing. Cocktail - Anar margarita was great; LOVED the starters- Samphire pakode were amazing, Duck Seekh kebabs were amazing... and the Kerala fried chicken (nothing Indian about this) was also really really good. With that curry mayo. Delicious! Desserts - the mango Mille Feuille and Pista Kulfi were dee-lish too. Which brings me onto the Mains. Really hit and miss. More miss. Chicken curry was average; Pork curry wasn't great; the Awadi lamb neck Biryani just wasn't right. There was still bits of marinade in one of the layers! Only thing that was good was the baked cod. That, and the butter paneer masala curry from the kids menu! Menu seems to have a lot going on - fusion, south India , then lucknow for biryani ... Maybe focus on one region and do it right. I would go again - this time I know what mains not to get.”

“Came here on a whim, first time visiting Kricket. We sat at the high stool tables to observe the chefs cook whilst we dined. Sweet ambience on a Friday evening. Mina greeted us and spoke us through the menu and answered any queries we had. Top customer service and the food was faultless. The butterfly Prawns were a fan favourite.”

“We had a wonderful Sunday lunch experience here - Holly has great service and introduced the menu very well. The food is really nice and in great portions, delicious, hot - the prawns, the lamb & fried chicken, and everything is just so tasty. The desserts are fresh and delicious. Moreover, the cocktails are very refreshing. Definitely recommend!”

“Just had a beautiful lunch in Kricket Canary Wharf. Our Butter Prawns starter was delicious and the star along with Holly who served us, she was delightful. I ordered baked cod confused by the menu under the heading “grills & curries” I thought this would come with a curry sauce, but it didn’t. I wanted a curry so that was a little disappointing, but my fault. So I can’t judge on the curries, of which I’m a connoisseur. However, the cod was beautifully cooked but the sauce was a little spicy and overpowering for the delicate flavour of the cod, but still very good. The naan bread was baked fresh and fantastic, as was the pilau rice. The restaurant itself is very modern and minimalist, with big bulky basic wooden tables. No soft furnishings so the atmosphere isn’t as cosy as other places. All in all very nice place, great service and delicious fresh food.”

“Kricket Canary Wharf is a cozy and quirky spot just a two-minute walk from the Elizabeth Line station. This was our second visit, and both times, we opted for the chef’s table at the counter. The restaurant’s design is stylish and inviting, with a warm ambiance that makes it a great place to unwind. The food was excellent, hood variety of authentic and delicious Indian dishes. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impressive. Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. A great choice for anyone looking to enjoy modern Indian cuisine in the heart of Canary Wharf.”
